Selection of the next Italian youth delegate to the United Nations
UN Youth Delegate Programme 2022/2023
We are looking for the next Italian Youth Delegates at the United Nations
APPLY by Sunday, 5 June 2022!
Applications are open for the new edition of the United Nations Youth Delegate Programme (UNYDP), which aims to promote the participation of young people in national diplomatic missions as delegates for youth issues.
In Italy, the Programme is managed by the Italian Society for International Organization (SIOI) in cooperation with the Ministry for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI).
If you are 18 to 29 years old, you are a university student or you have already completed a university course, and you are passionate about youth issues, the United Nations and civic engagement, participate in the selections and put yourself to the test!
You could have the opportunity to represent your peers at the UN, be their spokesperson in the most prestigious international diplomatic forums, and concretely promote the culture and values of the United Nations among young people.
The next Delegates will pick up the baton from Stefania Bait (University of Tor Vergata) and Marco Demo (Catholic University of Milan), two young people, just like you, who during their mandate have represented their peers in world-class decision-making processes. The mandate will last a year, from September 2022 to September 2023.
For information on the selections and to submit your application, see the call here.
